Your old photos with new tech

I've been going though my photos from Europe in 2010 and editing them in Lightroom. It's amazing what appears in a photo with just a small change in the light. You think you've taken a photo of nothing and then, after the light is added, you see again what you saw then. You knew what you were doing after all, it's just you had one of those little digital Samsung cameras everyone was taking with them on holidays just before the iphone integrated all the tech.
The thing about taking a holiday pic is that it is one frame in the context of a timeline of vision. When you glance around the city you feel moved by everything together, but the little things your eyes rest on because they stand out to you as important are what gets photographed, and are different when viewed again later. This is where collaging in a photobook can help.
